The ADNOC Pro League returns for Matchweek 4 with a series of intriguing encounters, as the battle for top spot intensifies and several teams look to bounce back or secure their first points of the season.
The seven matches will be played across three days, from Friday, September 4, to Sunday, September 6.
Shabab Al Ahli, Al Jazira and Al Ain head into the round with perfect records after winning all three of their opening matches, while Al Dhafra, Hatta and Bani Yas are still searching for their first points of the campaign.
The standout fixture sees Shabab Al Ahli and Al Jazira go head-to-head in a heavyweight clash, with both teams entering the contest on nine points.
Matchweek 4 gets underway on Friday when Kalba host Al Ain at Kalba Stadium at 17:45. Kalba are seeking their first victory after collecting just one point from their opening three matches, while Al Ain will look to maintain their perfect start and continue their challenge at the top of the standings.
Later that evening, Al Wasl welcome Khorfakkan to Zabeel Stadium at 20:15. Al Wasl suffered their first defeat of the season in the previous round and remain fourth with six points, while Khorfakkan claimed their first victory in Matchweek 3 to move to 10th place with three points.
Saturday features three matches, beginning with Bani Yas against Hatta at Bani Yas Stadium at 17:45. Both teams are yet to collect a point this season and will be determined to get off the mark.
At the same time, Sharjah host United at Sharjah Stadium, with the two sides level on six points after recording two wins and one defeat each in their opening three matches.
The highlight of Saturday's action takes place at Rashid Stadium at 20:15, when Shabab Al Ahli face Al Jazira in a top-of-the-table showdown. Both sides have collected the maximum nine points, with Shabab Al Ahli leading Al Jazira on goal difference.
The round concludes with two matches on Sunday. Al Nasr host Ajman at Al Maktoum Stadium at 17:45, with both teams looking to strengthen their positions in the standings. Al Nasr enter the round in eighth place with four points, while Ajman sit seventh with six.
Al Dhafra then welcome Al Wahda to Hamdan Bin Zayed Stadium at 20:15 in the final fixture of Matchweek 4. Al Dhafra are still searching for their first points of the season and will be hoping to turn their campaign around on home soil.
Al Wahda, meanwhile, recovered from defeats in their opening two matches by securing their first victory of the season in Matchweek 3. They will now be aiming for a second consecutive win as they look to climb the standings.
