The strength of the UAE-Omani relations is derived from their deep-rooted historical ties and the keenness of the leaderships of both countries to push them towards further development and progress, and to capitalize on the available opportunities in order to meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, which is exemplified by the annual participation of the UAE in Oman’s National Day celebrations.

UAE Pro League chairman Abdulla Naser Al Junaibi affirmed the close ties between the two brotherly countries whose strong foundations and bilateral relations were laid down by the wise leadership of the two countries.
The UAE Pro League is keen on celebrating the national occasions of sister countries to affirm the good relations binding them together and due to its belief in the role of football in building bridges of communication between people.
Al Junaibi said, "we congratulate the Omani leadership, government and people on the occasion of their 50th National Day, and wish continuous pride, prosperity and stability to the Omani people." He added, "participating in the 50th National Day celebrations of our brothers in the Sultanate embodies the values of affection and brotherhood between us, as we wish them continued progress and prosperity."
