UAE Pro League Chairman Abdulla Naser Al-Jneibi said that Zayed Humanitarian Day, which is observed on the 19th of Ramadan every year, corresponding to the anniversary of the death of the Founding Father of the UAE, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, is a tribute and a message of appreciation to a leader and father to all Emiratis, who dedicated his life to building the nation and laying the foundations of our life in the UAE, which is considered the homeland of security and prosperity.
Al-Jneibi said, “on this occasion, we follow in the footsteps of the founding father in every day of our lives and abide by the vision of the wise leadership as we continue the development journey of the UAE, which takes the lead in terms of security, coexistence, and development in all fields.”
He added, “the development of Emirati sports and football, in particular, is a result of the efforts of the founding father who laid the foundations of the sport sector and supported and motivated youth, as all Emiratis now vie to excel when they represent the UAE on the global stages.”
