The board of directors of the UAE Pro League reviewed the development of the preparations for the 2021-22 Pro League Cup final, set to take place between Al Ain and Shabab Al Ahli on Wednesday, May 4th at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium at 19:30 under the slogan of "The Eid Shines On With You."
This came during the UAE Pro League's periodic meeting, which was held on Friday morning as it was headed by UAE Pro League chairman His Excellency Abdulla Naser Al Jneibi and attended by Vice President Jamal Hamed Al Marri and board members Mohammed Obaid Al Yamahi, Tariq Ali Al Shabibi, Hassan Taleb Al Marri, Saeed Obaid Al Kaabi, and Jawaher Abdulaziz Al Suwaidi, in addition to business development consultant Dr. Khalid Mohammed Abdullah and chief corporate services officer Musab Al Marzooqi.
During the meeting, they discussed the final arrangements for the upcoming event, stressing the need to exert efforts to bring out the event in a proper image which reflects the technical and public value of the match, as it is expected to see a massive attendance from both teams' fans, as well as the initiatives launched by the UAE Pro League on the sidelines of the final, aiming at attracting fans.
They were also briefed on the accomplishment reports and the progress of work in the various departments and sections, in addition to existing and future projects.
