Kalba claimed their first win of the season after beating Ajman 3-2 at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium in Matchweek 5 of the ADNOC Pro League.
Benjamin Tetteh opened the scoring for Kalba with a header in the 25th minute before Carlos Filho doubled the visitors’ lead with another header in the 42nd.
Waleed Azaro pulled one back for Ajman in first-half stoppage time, sending the teams into the break with Kalba leading 2-1.
Antonio Fialho restored Kalba’s two-goal advantage with a powerful strike in the 67th minute.
Ajman responded through Lithierry Silva in the 81st minute, but Kalba held on to secure all three points.
The victory took Kalba to four points, while Ajman remained on nine.
Azaro has now scored 10 ADNOC Pro League goals against Kalba, five of them headers.
