Renewed Ambitions Ahead as U-21 Pro League Matchweek 16 Kicks off

The U-21 Pro League Matchweek 16 sees seven encounters taking place over the weekend as the race heats across the table.

 

 

 

Saturday's action gets underway with three encounters taking place at 17:30.

 

 


Bani Yas, sitting in 12th place with 12 points, host Al Ain, who are 3rd with 27 points.

 

 

Meanwhile, bottom side Khorfakkan with just five points to their name, welcome sixth-placed Al Wahda, who aim to add to their 24 points when they travel to Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qassimi Stadium.

 

 


The third simultaneous game of the day sees runners-up Sharjah looking to reduce the five-point gap to leaders Shabab Al Ahli when they host tenth-placed Al Wasl at Khalid bin Mohammed Stadium.

 

 


The games continue on Sunday with yet four more 17:30 fixtures as seventh Al Dhafra with 20 points travel to Ras Al Khaima to face an Emirates side sitting four places and five points behind them, while Al Jazira welcome Al Nasr in a fiery midtable clash at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium with the hosts occupying eight place with 20 points and their visitors one spot and two points below them.

 

 


The last of the three Sunday fixtures sees Al Orooba, in 13th, bracing for a home challenge against leaders Shabab Al Ahli.

 

 


The last match of the day will be between Ittihad Kalba and Ajman.

 

The two-point difference between the two sides makes for an enticing show with the visiting Ajman side placed fourth with 26 points, while hosts Ittihad Kalba are in the 5th spot with 24 points.
