Shabab Al Ahli on the Brink of U21 Pro League Title, Face Al Nasr in Matchweek 23

Shabab Al Ahli are on the verge of winning the U21 Pro League title with three matches still to go in the season but need to get past Al Nasr in matchweek 23.

 

 

 

 

Matchweek 23 will take place over two days on Wednesday May 11th, and Thursday May 12th with leaders Shabab Al Ahli looking to maintain a nine-point lead on Al Ain as the Dubai-based side have the upper hand in head-to-head clashes as well as goal difference.

 

 

 

 

Wednesday's action gets underway with three matches, set to take place simultaneously at 18:00 with seventh placed Al Wahda on 29 points hosting Ajman, who sit third with 43 points, at Al Nahyan stadium.

 

 

 

 

Bottom side Khorfakkan are on eight points and welcome fourth-placed Sharjah with 43 points at Saqr bin Mohammad AlQassimi Stadium.

 

 

 

 

The third match of the day will be at Bani Yas Stadium, where thirteenth placed Bani Yas who are on 15 points host Al Orooba, who sit 12th with16 points.

 

 

 

 

Matchweek 23 concludes on Thursday with four games set to take place simultaneously at 18:00.

 

 

 

Eighth placed Al Dhafra are on 28 points and host eleventh placed Al Wasl who have 20 points at Hamdan bin Zayed Stadium, while tenth-placed Emirates welcome Ittihad Kalba, who are sixth with 36 points.

 

 

 

The third match of the day will be at Al Maktoum Stadium, where Al Nasr, who are 9th on 28 points, welcome leaders Shabab Al Ahli, who could confirm the title triumph by winning this game.

 

 

 

 

The last match of the day sees Al Jazira, who sit fifth on 37 points, host second-placed Al Ain with 45 points at Mohamed bin Zayed stadium.
