Sharjah head coach Olaroiu Cozmin said his players are ready to claim the UAE Super Cup trophy during Saturday's encounter against Al Ain.
"We play against the champions. It will be a tough game, and we will try our best to win the trophy," the Romanian manager said during the pre-match press conference.
"I saw that all the tickets are sold out, and this is fantastic for the football here at this moment. This is the reason for this game to bring people. I hope both teams offer a good show during tomorrow's game to make fans enjoy it," he added.
"These kinds of games, especially in this stage of Emirati football, should be a fair play football that everyone enjoys. I hope the way that the two teams play to be good and to start to bring people to the stadiums more and more," Cozmin noted.
"Losing is not part of our plans before the UAE Super Cup match, and we always play for victory. We know that Al Ain are a strong team, but we're not afraid of them," he concluded.
On his part, Sharjah defender Shahin Abdulrahman said that the game would not be easy, stressing that his team are ready to clinch the title.
Sharjah will clash against Al Ain on Saturday, February 25th in the UAE Super Cup at Al Maktoum Stadium.
