UAE Pro League Announces Nominees for 2023-2024 Season Awards

The UAE Pro League has unveiled the nominees for its 2023-2024 season awards, across a variety of categories from Best Emirati Player, Best Foreign Player, Best Young Emirati Player, Best Young Player (Resident/Born), Best Goalkeeper, Best Coach, Best Goal, to Fan's Player of the Year.

 

Voting for these awards will open at 8 PM on Thursday, July 11, and will close at 8 PM on July 16. Fans can cast their votes through the official UAE Pro League website and the mobile app.

 

The Golden Ball for Best Emirati Player features strong contenders including Fabio De Lima and Ali Saleh from Al Wasl, Yahya Al Ghassani from Shabab Al Ahli, Khalifa Al Hammadi from Al Jazira, and Yahia Nader from Al Ain.

 

In the category for Best Foreign Player, the nominees are Nicolas Gimenez from Al Wasl, Mehdi Ghayedi from Kalba, Omar Khribin from Al Wahda, Soufiane Bouftini from Al Wasl, and Soufiane Rahimi from Al Ain.

 

The Golden Boy Award for Best Young Emirati Player highlights emerging talents such as Zayed Sultan from Al Jazira, Abdulla Al Balooshi from Al Nasr, Sultan Adil from Kalba, Bader Nasser from Shabab Al Ahli, and Mohammed Al Balooshi from Al Ain.

 

For the Golden Boy Award recognizing the Best Young Player born or resident in the UAE, the nominees include Siaka Sidibe and Adama Diallo from Al Wasl, Guilherme Bala from Shabab Al Ahli, Mamadou Coulibaly from Al Jazira, and Seko Baba Gassama from Al Bataeh.

 

The Golden Glove Award for Best Goalkeeper sees top contenders such as Fahad Al Dhanhani from Bani Yas, Khaled Al Senaani from Al Wasl, Khalid Eisa from Al Ain, Adel Al Hosani from Sharjah, and Ali Khaseif from Al Jazira.

 

In the coaching category, the Leader Award for Best Coach features nominations for Milos Milojevic from Al Wasl, Alfred Schreuder from Al Nasr, Goran Tufegdzic from Al Wahda, and Goran Tomić from Al Bataeh.

 

Voting for these awards will involve team captains, coaches, media professionals, and fans. The UAE Pro League has also designated two awards based solely on fan voting: Fan's Choice for Best Player and Best Goal. Fans can participate in the voting through a special link shared on the UAE Pro League's official social media platforms.
