The UAE Pro League's board of directors held, on Friday, February 24th, its seventh periodic meeting for the 2022-2023 season.
The meeting was headed by UAE Pro League chairman His Excellency Abdulla Naser Al Jneibi and attended by Vice President Jamal Hamed Al Marri and board members Mohammed Obaid Al Yamahi, Hassan Taleb Al Marri, Tariq Ali Al Shabibi, Saeed Obaid Al Kaabi, and Jawaher Abdulaziz Al Suwaidi, in addition to the UAE Pro League's Chief Executive Officer Waleed Ibrahim Al Hosani, Business Development Consultant Dr. Khalid Mohammed Abdullah, and directors of the UAE Pro League's administrations.
During the meeting, the attendees reviewed the latest preparations for the 15th edition of the UAE Super Cup, which is scheduled to be held at Al Maktoum Stadium on Saturday, February 25th, between ADNOC Pro League's title holders Al Ain and champions of the UAE President's Cup Sharjah.
The UAE Pro League's board of directors discussed the program of the opening and coronation ceremony, as well as the activities accompanying the event.
Meanwhile, the board of directors emphasized the importance of intensifying the efforts to make the event befit the reputation of Emirati football.
They also called on fans to support their clubs in a civilized manner that reflects the behavior and ethics of Emirati people.
