Following the conclusion of the 2020-21 season, the UAE Pro League kicked off its preparations for the 2021-22 season, as it continued its efforts for developing the professional competitions while underlining all details related to clubs and developing the whole system in accordance with the 2020-2030 strategic plan.
A UAE Pro League delegation that included representatives from various departments visited newly-promoted Arabian Gulf League sides Emirates Club and Orooba Club over the past two days in order to review their preparations ahead of the 2021-22 season.
The delegation met with representatives from both clubs and discussed the requirements for the professional competitions. In addition, they toured the stadiums and clubs’ facilities to ensure their readiness for the new season while working on developing the facilities that require further improvements.
The visit took place immediately after the end of the 2020-21 season to allow clubs enough time to make the required changes ahead of the new season. The UAE Pro League delegation confirmed their keenness to cooperate with the clubs and provide them with the needed expertise to support them ahead of their upcoming participation in the top-tier. It also highlighted the clubs’ readiness to fulfill all the necessary conditions and requirements.
