The ADNOC Pro League will return to action with matchweek four taking place over the weekend as each club looks to gain some ground between keeping pace with the league's leading teams or moving up the standings.

Fixtures of matchweek four get underway with four clashes, taking place on Saturday, October 1st, while the other three games will be held on Sunday, October 2nd.

The ADNOC Pro League leaders Sharjah will seek to maintain their unbeaten start to their adventure during the ongoing season by hosting Khorfakkan, who are looking for securing their first win in the competition, as the game will take place at Sharjah Stadium for the 17:15 kick-off.

The two teams have previously met on six occasions, with five wins for Sharjah, while the draw decided the result of the other game.

At the same time, ninth Bani Yas welcome second-placed Al Jazira at Bani Yas stadium.

The two teams played 22 fixtures before, with Al Jazira winning 13, while Bani Yas managed to secure 3 victories, and the other 6 clashes ended in draws.

The games continue with Dibba facing off Ajman at Dibba Stadium for the 20:00 kick-off.

The two teams are looking forward to securing their first win in the League as both clubs have one point from a draw and two defeats.

Saturday's fixtures conclude with sixth-placed Al Nasr clashing against seventh Al Wasl at Al Maktoum Stadium.

Al Nasr and Al Wasl have just five points after playing out two draws and pulling off just one win.

The two clubs played 26 matches before, with 13 wins for Al Nasr, and 6 victories for Al Wasl, while the other 7 games ended in draws. During their 26 meetings, the net rippled on 77 occasions, as Al Nasr scored 45 goals, while Al Wasl found the back of the net on 32 occasions.

The encounters continue on Sunday with Al Dhafra welcoming Shabab Al Ahli at Hamdan Bin Zayed Stadium for the 17:15 kick-off.

Al Dhafra will be in a search of securing their first win, while the Dubai-based side are looking for clinching their third consecutive win.

At the same time, third-placed Al Bataeh will play against tenth Al Wahda.

The newly-prompted Al Bataeh seek to earn their third victory after winning two games and losing the other, while Al Wahda are looking for securing their first win after losing two games and drawing the other match.
