A goal from Leandro Spadacio and a brace from Firas Ben Larbi handed Ajman a 3-1 win over Emirates in the final matckweek 26 of the ADNOC Pro League at Emirates Club Stadium on Thursday.
The visitors needed just five minutes to open the scoring when Waleed Azaro's cross found Ben Larbi, who brilliantly unleashed a left-footed effort, which nestled into the right-bottom corner of the net.
Goseph Gnado brought the Emirates level in the 42nd minute, when he picked up Mohammed Saeed's through pass inside the penalty area, before tapping the ball into the far post.
Ben Larbi put his side ahead again in the 67th minute, grabbing his brace when he stepped up to curl a superb free-kick into the top right corner of Ali Saqr net to make it 2-1.
In the dying embers, Spadacio sealed the victory and snatched the three points for his side, when he met Abdulla Abdulaziz's superb cross and dribbled defender Salem Al Eedi, before curling a left-footed shot into the back of the net.
The result means that Ajman finish the season in seventh place with 35 points while Emirates remain bottom and will play at the UAE First Division next season.
