Oumar Traore's brace and two goals from Nabil Fekir and Jay Dee secured a 4-0 win for Al Jazira over Ajman in matchweek eight of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
Oumar Traore had given the lead to Al Jazira after 27 minutes when he picked up the ball outside the box, beat his man, and curled a right-footed effort into the bottom corner. Four minutes later, Nabil Fekir launched a sublime strike to add the second goal.
Four minutes before the break, things went from bad to worse for Ajman after Jay Dee curled a superb effort from a free-kick into the top corner of the net to make it 3-0.
Oumar Traore bagged his brace in the 74th minute after firing a first-time half-volley into the bottom corner to seal the victory.
The victory leads the Pride of Abu Dhabi to third place with 16 points, while Ajman sit tenth with 7 points.
