Ajman cruised to a comfortable 3-0 away victory against Al Orooba at Fujairah Stadium in matchweek 17 of the ADNOC Pro League on Friday.
The visitors wasted no time to open their account as Leandro Spadacio took control of a poorly cleared ball and curled it expertly into the far corner inside five minutes.
Incidentally, it was the Brazilian’s fifth ADNOC Pro League goal and the fifth time Ajman have scored in the opening five minutes of a game this season.
Ajman doubled their tally five minutes after the hour mark as Firas Belarbi won possession inside the opposition half and fed a through ball to Walid Azaro who kept his composure to beat the goalkeeper from inside the box for 2-0.
The high pressure delivered once more in the final minute of the game as Gambian forward Bubacarr Trawally capitalised on a defensive mistake and rounded the goalkeeper before applying the finish to round off the scoring for coach Goran Tufegdžić’s men.
The result means Ajman sit sixth with 25 points while Al Orooba remain two points adrift of safety in 13th place with nine points.
