Al Bataeh's 2023-2024 Pro League Season Review

Al Bataeh experienced a season of notable achievements and challenges in the 2023-2024 professional leagues, participating in the ADNOC Pro League, the U21 Pro League, and the ADIB Cup.

In the ADNOC Pro League, Al Bataeh finished in a respectable 7th place, amassing 37 points. The team played 26 matches, securing 10 wins, 7 draws, and 9 losses. They showed strong offensive capabilities, scoring 42 goals, with 37 of these coming from inside the penalty area.

Their goal-scoring breakdown included 25 goals with the right foot, 11 with the left foot, and 4 from headers.

However, their defensive record was less impressive, as they conceded 44 goals, averaging 1.69 goals per match. Discipline on the field was also a concern, with the team receiving 64 yellow cards and 4 red cards over the season.

In the ADIB Cup, Al Bataeh's campaign was short-lived.

They faced a heavy defeat in the first round (Round of 16), losing 0-5 to Al Ain in the first leg and 1-2 in the second leg, resulting in their elimination from the competition.

The U21 Pro League saw Al Bataeh's youth team finishing in 9th place, collecting 27 points over the season.
