Ajman secured their first three points of the ADNOC Pro League's ongoing season by demolishing Dibba Al Hisn 5-1 in matchweek four of the ADNOC Pro League on Friday.
Ajman dominated the game from the start and pressed to take the lead as their relentless pressure finally paid off in the 22nd minute.
Waleed Azaro pounced on a misjudgment from Suhail Abdulla Ibrahim as the Moroccan striker jumped high to thump in Lithierry Silva's pinpoint cross.
Dibba Al-Hisn backed on terms six minutes before the break when Haithem Jouini successfully converted from the spot as he stepped up and sent the goalkeeper the wrong way to bring the level for the visitors.
Ajman refused to go to the dressing rooms without going ahead, turned the screw, and claimed their rewards with a brilliant play from Junior Flemmings to release Isam Faiz, who unselfishly squared to Bilal Yousif to tap in.
The hosts' players saw that it was not enough to end the first half with a one-goal advantage as Lithierry Silva came up with the third to cement Ajman's lead. Silva timed his run perfectly inside the box, letting himself in an unmarked position to head in Soud Saeed's excellent cross in the stoppage time of the first half.
Junior Flemmings struck twice in the second half to make things much worse for Dibba Al Hisn. Waleed Azaro found Flemmings on the right flank with an excellent through pass as the Jamaican slotted the ball from a tight angle. Azaro has been involved in six goals from Ajman's last nine home goals in the ADNOC Pro League as he scored four and made two assists.
The Jamaican player hit his brace one minute after the hour mark, after curling a right-footed effort into the bottom corner of the net.
The win raised Ajman's tally to three points in the 9th spot, while Dibba Al Hisn are 13th with zero points.
