Shabab Al Ahli settled for a 0-0 draw against Tajikistan’s FC Istiklol in their opening Group A game of the AFC Champions League at King Fahd International Stadium on Thursday.
The UAE team kept a clean sheet for the fourth game in a row in the group stage of the AFC Champions League, which marks their longest clean sheet streak in the competition.
Shabab Al Ahli are scheduled to play their second Group A game on Sunday against Saudi side Al Hilal, who played out a 2-2 draw with Uzbek team AGMK in their opening game.
