Sharjah kicked off their strong campaign in the 2021-22 ADNOC Pro League with three consecutive wins, before losing five games, and drawing in four matches in the first round.
They were able to win most of their games in the second league round to finish runners-up with 55 points.
In the first round, Sharjah collected 23 points from 13 games, including seven wins, four defeats, and two draws while in the second round they secured 32 points, winning in 10 matches, a draw in two games, and only one defeat.
Sharjah have become the only team that beat league champions Al Ain, when they faced off in the 13th matchweek this season.
The league runners-up scored 46 goals; third highest scoring team and they conceded 25 goals.
They are in second place, joint with Al Wahda for the fewest goals conceded throughout last season, picking up 11 clean sheets.
Sharjah's players Caio Lucas, Ben Malango, Ousmane Camara, and Bernard Duarte always posed a real threat to the competitors' goalkeepers and made the difference for their side.
Brazilian forward Lucas finished fourth in the ADNOC Pro League's top scorers list with 14 goals and assists, while Ben Malango scored 9 goals and made four assists.
Meanwhile, Camara scored six goals, and Bernard Duarte scored four goals and also made four assists.
