Hatta head coach Waleed Obaid and Khorfakkan's Kresimir Rezic have expressed their determination to secure all three points when their teams meet on Saturday, November 7, in Matchweek 8 of the ADNOC Pro League at Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum Stadium.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Obaid said that Hatta were fully prepared for a difficult encounter against opponents facing similar challenges.
"We are ready to face Khorfakkan and expect a tough match against a team going through circumstances similar to ours," he said.
Obaid praised Khorfakkan's quality, describing them as a strong side with experienced players and a highly capable striker.
He added that Hatta's recent victory had lifted the players' confidence and morale, with the team determined to build on that result and collect three points to improve their league position.
The Hatta coach explained that preparations had focused on defensive organisation, individual duels, attacking and defensive transitions, and maintaining concentration, particularly during the closing stages.
"We need to strike the right balance between defence and attack while making the most of our chances," Obaid said.
He also promised Hatta supporters that the players would give their best as they look to secure a positive result on home soil.
Meanwhile, Khorfakkan's head coach stressed the importance of the fixture and his team's determination to return to winning ways.
"The match against Hatta is important. We are well prepared and want to deliver a strong performance. We aim to secure our second league victory of the season," Rezic said.
