Emirates have been officially relegated from the ADNOC Pro League after being defeated 2-3 by Al Bataeh in matchweek 26 of the ADNOC Pro League on Saturday.
Alvaro De Oliveira gave an early lead to Al Bataeh in the 19th minute when he ran onto an upfield pass from Paulo Henrique to break the offside trap as the former beat the goalkeeper and put the ball into the empty net.
Two minutes later, Mohamed Rashid Alhammadi cemented his side's lead with a clinical finish from a close range.
Francisco Alcacer reduced the deficit for Emirates in the seventh minute of the first half's stoppage time from the spot as he stroked the ball into the bottom corner.
Lithierry Silva turned the game on its head three minutes before the hour-mark with a first-time effort from inside the box.
Weberty Silva had another opinion in the injury time as he struck from inside the box to give the three points to Al Bataeh and left Emirates in tears.
The result means that Al Bataeh are 8th with 34 points, while Emirates are 13th with 17 points.
