Al Ain temporarily moved one point clear at the top of the ADNOC Pro League after securing a 3-0 win over Dibba on Thursday at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
Al Ain took an early lead in the 11th minute when Caio Canedo fired in a rebound after Tin Jedvaj's effort was saved by goalkeeper Humaid Abdulla.
The hosts had a golden opportunity in the 28th minute to double the lead when they were awarded a penalty kick, but Laba Kodjo missed from the spot as he saw his effort hit the crossbar.
A minute after the hour-mark, Soufian Rahimi doubled his side's lead when Bandar Al Ahbabi sent a brilliant cross to the unmarked Rahimi, who met it with a powerful header into the back of the net.
Nine minutes before the time, Jonatas Santos secured the three points and sealed the victory when he picked up the ball on the edge of the penalty area before firing the ball into the back of the net.
The victory means that Al Ain temporarily sit at the top of the ADNOC Pro League's table with 37 points, while Dibba remain bottom with four points.
