Al Ain earned a 5-3 comeback win over Al Wasl at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium to raise their tally to 16 points and move three points clear at the top of the standings. Meanwhile, Al Wasl remained fifth with nine points.

The Boss are followed by Ittihad Kalba in second place, as the latter were held by Bani Yas to a 1-1 draw at Saqr bin Mohammad Al Qassimi Stadium. The Sky Blues moved one spot up to sit in 11th place with six points.

Shabab Al Ahli jumped to third place and raised their tally to 12 points after edging Al Jazira 4-3 at Al Nahyan Stadium. The defeat saw Al Jazira drop two spots down to occupy the ninth place on seven points only.

Sharjah fell to a 2-1 defeat against Al Nasr at Al Maktoum Stadium to sit fourth on 10 points, two above sixth-placed Al Nasr.

A 1-0 win for Al Wahda over Ajman saw them climb to seventh place on eight points. The Oranges, however, dropped to 12th place with six points.

Hatta and Fujairah clash was the only goalless draw of matchweek 6 as both teams are now tied on seven points, with Fujairah sitting eighth and Hatta 10th on goal difference.

A late goal handed Khorfakkan a 1-0 win over Al Dhafra at Saqr bin Mohammad Al Qassimi Stadium, marking their first win of the season as they raised their tally to four points in 13th place. Meanwhile, Al Dhafra continue to linger at the bottom of the table with one point only, as they are the only team who are yet to grab a win this season.
