Goals from Andrii Yarmolenko and Laba Kodjo helped Al Ain secure a 2-0 away win over Dibba in matchweek five of the ADNOC Pro League on Friday.
Al Ain needed just six minutes to open the floodgates when Andrii Yarmolenko orchestrated a fine one-two with Yahia Nader to open up space, finally allowing the Ukrainian midfielder to fire the ball across Humaid Abdulla and into the far corner of the net.
Laba Kodjo sealed the victory at the death when he ran onto a superb upfield pass from Soufian Rahimi to break the offside trap and drill the ball into the back of the net.
The result means Al Ain sit third with ten points, while Dibba are in the 14th spot with just one point.
