This is the second brace for Sabi’a following his two goals in Al Nasr’s 3-0 win against Khor Fakkan in Round Four of the league.
Always the provider till then, it was Ryan Mendes who deservingly added a third goal and put the issue beyond doubt for the visitors when he cut in from the right flank and sent in a stiff shot that had no answer from Al Hosani.
The win put Al Nasr temporarily in second place with 13 points and on a better goal difference from Al Jazira, who were scheduled to play Shabab Al Ahli in the lone late match on Friday.
