Al Nasr and Al Wahda shared the spoils after playing out a goalless draw at Al Maktoum Stadium on Friday.
The first half saw just two goal-scoring chances for Al Nasr, and Al Wahda had no presence in the attacking line during the first 45 minutes.
Al Nasr quickly entered the game and should have opened the scoring after nine minutes when Marouan Azarkan made a nice run in the right flank as he sent a pinpoint cross to the unmarked Adel Taarabt, but his header was parried away by Al Wahda's goalkeeper Mohamed Alshamsi.
Ali Mabkhout missed a serious chance when he pounced on a misjudgment from goalkeeper Mohamed Alshamsi as he cut inside the box, but his effort was blocked by Al Wahda's defense.
Al Wahda's first real threat came two minutes after the hour-mark when Brahima Diarra timed his run perfectly to head in Ahmad Noorollah's cross, but his header went just wide.
Both clubs kept trying to find the breakthrough, but their players seemed to have forgotten their scoring boots at home.
The result means that Al Nasr are 5th with 13 points, while Al Wahda sit 3rd with 14 points.
