The UAE Pro League's board of directors held, on Friday, January 27th, its sixth periodic meeting for the 2022-2023 season.
The meeting was headed by UAE Pro League chairman His Excellency Abdulla Naser Al Jneibi, and attended by Vice President Jamal Hamed Al Marri and board members Mohammed Obaid Al Yamahi, Hassan Taleb Al Marri, Tariq Ali Al Shabibi, Saeed Obaid Al Kaabi, and Jawaher Abdulaziz Al Suwaidi, in addition to the UAE Pro League's Chief Executive Officer Waleed Ibrahim Al Hosani, Business Development Consultant Dr. Khalid Mohammed Abdullah, and directors of the UAE Pro League's administrations
During the meeting, the attendees reviewed the latest preparations for the 15th edition of the UAE Super Cup, which is scheduled to be held at Al Maktoum Stadium on Saturday, February 25th, between ADNOC Pro League's title holders Al Ain and champions of the UAE President's Cup Sharjah.
The UAE Pro League's board of directors directed the organizing work team of the UAE Super Cup to do their utmost to enhance the marketing and promotional efforts for this important event.
Meanwhile, the UAE Pro League has already started its early preparations for the highly-anticipated match. It also endeavors to provide an integrated sports entertainment program that witnesses many diverse pre-match activities.
The tickets were also released almost one month prior to the UAE Super Cup, as the UAE Pro League seeks to give the opportunity for the fans to book their place in the stands and support their clubs.
They also discussed a number of initiatives, which aim to increase fans attendance during the current sports season.
During the meeting, the attendees reviewed the progress report of the previous meeting, executive management reports, and the latest updates on projects and initiatives being undertaken by the UAE Pro League in accordance with its goals and strategic plans, through which the UAE Pro League seeks to upgrade the professional football system in all aspects; technical, administrative and others.
