UAE Pro League board members have urged everyone involved in preparations for the highly-anticipated Super Cup finale scheduled for January 7th at Hazza Bin Zayed stadium to intensify their efforts so that the outcome would be commensurate with the value and significance of the event.
UAEPL is eager to display the image of tolerance and coexistence UAE residents are relishing during the significant event coinciding with UAE celebrating its 50th anniversary, with the game being held under the motto "UAE, where the world meets".
The directives came in UAEPL sixth periodic video-conference meeting that was headed chairman Abdullah Naser Al-Jneibi and attended by vice chairman Jamal Hamed and board members; Mohammed Al Yamahi, Hassan Taleb Al Marri, Tariq Ali Al Shabibi, Saeed Al Kaabi, and Jawaher Al Suwaidi as well as CEO Waleed Al Hosani, Business Development Consultant Khalid Mohamed Abdulla, and representatives from different managements and departments.
The board members followed up the latest preparations for the long-awaited event and approved of holding entertaining and promotional events in the vicinity of Hazza Bin Zayed stadium as of January 5th that last until match-day.
Furthermore, fans attending the opening ceremony will enjoy the performance of an operetta written by nation's poet Ali Al Khawar to be sung in both Arabic and English by the stars Asma Lmnawar and Hamad Al Ameri.
