The UAE Pro League held on Thursday, January 6, the technical meeting for the UAE Super Cup set to will take place between Al Jazira and Shabab Al Ahli at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Friday, January 7.
The meeting was chaired by UAE Pro League CEO Waleed Al Hosani and attended by representatives of both clubs, referees' committee, the private security company, and the working teams from the various departments of the UAE Pro League and Hazza bin Zayed stadium.
The meeting reviewed the two teams' logistical, technical, organizational, and media arrangements.
It was agreed during the meeting that Al Jazira will be wearing an all-white kit, while Shabab Al Ahli will be wearing an all-red kit.
According to Article 15 of the UAE Super Cup competition regulation, the game will go straight to penalty shootouts, without extra time, if the regular time ends in a draw.
The pre-match press conferences take place on Thursday in the outer area of Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, with Al Jazira press conference starting at 15:30, followed by Shabab Al Ahli press conference at 16:00. Both press conferences will be attended by the head coach and one starting player.
The official training sessions for both teams will be held at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium on Thursday evening with a full hour dedicated for each team.
Shabab Al Ahli's training session will start at 17:00, while Al Jazira's training session will kick off at 18:30.
It is worth mentioning that the stadiums' gates will be open for the fans at 17:45.
The Pro League will organize several accompanying events and entertainment shows for fans in Hazza bin Zayed stadium's surrounding area.
It will set up prize draws, including tablets, smartwatches, and gaming sets, at half time and after the end of the match. After the end of the match, two fans will be selected to claim the big prize valued AED 100,000 (AED 50,000 for each winner).
