The UAE Pro League decided to auction many players' shirts, which they wore in the Abu Dhabi derby held between Al Jazira and Al Ain at the Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium on Thursday evening.
The auction will be organized by MatchWornShirt, an international online auction company of sports shirts worn in prominent matches to make those memories unforgettable and tangible, allowing fans to own a piece of the Club's history.
The project, in collaboration with UAE Pro League, will continue for seven days to give all fans the opportunity to purchase the shirts worn by Al Jazira and Al Ain players in the thrilling match that saw a heavy fan attendance.
This upturn reached its culmination at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium, with Al-Jazira and Al-Ain contesting their game on an epic night that ended with a 2-1 win for revitalized the Pride of Abu Dhabi over Champions Al Ain.
Al Jazira maintained their perfect start to the ADNOC Pro League season with perfect nine points from three matches.
