The matches are coming thick and fast, as we are already back with the matchweek two of the ADNOC Pro League, which will bring along some exciting games right from the beginning.

Below, we shed light on potential thrillers and preview another exciting matchweek in the ADNOC Pro League.

Four games are scheduled to be held on Friday, the opening day of matchweek 2 of the ADNOC Pro League before the action resumes on Saturday with three other matches.

The second matchweek gets underway on Friday at 17:45 pm, when Khorfakkan welcome Al Jazira at the venue of Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Stadium.

The away side wants to build up on their 2-0 home win over newly-promoted Dibba in the season opener.

Meanwhile, Khorfakkan won't be an easy target as they need to bounce back after their last 1-0 defeat to Bani Yas.

There were no matches that ended in a tie between the two teams, as four games ended in favor of Al Jazira, compared to 2 wins for Khorfakkan.

Ittihad Kalba stadium will be hosting Al Bataeh and Al Wasl at the same time in a maiden encounter between the two teams in the ADNOC Pro League.

The home side will be looking to keep the momentum alive after their 2-0 win over Ittihad Kalba in the league opener, while Al Wasl seek to bounce back after their 2-2 draw with Al Wahda.

Later on Friday, Sharjah and Bani Yas will face off in what's expected to be an entertaining clash at Bani Yas Stadium, and Dibba will be also welcoming Shabab Al Ahli.

Sharjah and Bani Yas faced off 20 times with six games ending in a draw and nine wins in favor of Al Sharjah, compared to 5 victories for Bani Yas.

Meanwhile, Dibba and Shabab Al Ahli have clashed 10 times, with eight wins for Shabab Al Ahli, and a single win for Dibba, while the draw decided the other two games.

The action resumes on Saturday at 17:45 pm, when titleholders Al Ain welcome Al Dhafra at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in a game, in which, Al Ain eye their first win after kicking off their season with a 1-1 surprising draw with Ajman.

The last 12 matches between the two teams in the ADNOC Pro League have never seen a draw, as ten games ended in favor of Al Ain, compared to only two wins for Al Dhafra.

At the same time, Al Nasr will be playing against Ajman at Al Maktoum Stadium in an exciting clash, given both sides' offensive styles.

Al Nasr and Ajman faced off 20 times with five games ending in a draw and nine wins in favor of Al Nasr, compared to 7 victories for Ajman.

The matchweek two concludes with what is set to be a spectacle as Al Wahda take on Ittihad Kalba at Al Nahyan Stadium at 20:30 pm.

The two teams seek to earn a positive result after they started their campaign in the UAE top flight on the wrong foot.
