Matchweek Three of ADNOC Pro League to See Tough Clashes

Matchweek three of the ADNOC Pro League is set to see seven encounters taking place on Thursday, and Friday, September 15th and 16.

 

 

 

 

Two clubs will search for pulling off their third consecutive win, and seven clubs will look for securing their second win in the League, while the other five clubs will seek to achieve their first victory.

 

 

 

 

Al Jazira vs Al Ain derby and Shabab Al Ahli vs Al Wahda's fiery match will lead the fixtures of matchweek three.

 

 

 

 

Four games are scheduled to be held on Thursday, while the other three fixtures will take place on Friday.

 

 

 

 

The Al Wasl vs Dibba match will kickstart matchweek 3 at Zabeel Stadium at 17:45 on Thursday.

 

 

 

 

The two teams have previously met in 10 matches in the ADNOC Pro League, with 7 wins for Al Wasl, compared to three for Dibba.

 

 

 

 

At the same time, Ajman will host Sharjah at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium, as the hosts look to compensate for their last loss against Al Nasr, while Sharjah will search for maintaining their unbeaten start in the league and pulling off their third consecutive win.

 

 

 

 

The two teams met before on 18 occasions in the ADNOC Pro League, with 12 wins for Sharjah, and 4 for Al Nasr, while the draws decided the other two encounters.

 

 

 

 

Thursday's action continues with Khorfakkan playing against Al Nasr at Saqr bin Mohammad al Qassimi Stadium for the 20:30 kick-off.

 

 

 

 

The hosts will seek to earn their first win in the 2022-23 season after losing their last two games, while Al Nasr look for achieving their second victory in the league after kicking off their adventure with a 1-1 draw against Al Dhafra, before securing a 2-0 home win against Ajman in matchweek two.

 

 

 

 

 

The two teams faced off 6 times, with four wins for Al Nasr and two for Khorfakkan.

 

 

 

 

The most anticipated game of matchweek 3 sees Al Jazira hosting title holders Al Ain at Mohammad bin Zayed Stadium.

 

 

 

 

The Abu Dhabi rivals clashed 26 times before with 11 wins for Al Jazira, and 10 for Al Ain, as the latter scored 47 goals and the former found the back of the net on 46 occasions. The draws decided the result of the other five games between the two clubs.

 

 

 

 

The games continue on Friday with three fixtures, two of which will take place at 17:45, while the third and last match of the day will be held at 20:30.

 

 

 

 

The second day of matchweek 3 kicks off with Bani Yas and Al Bataeh facing off at Bani Yas Stadium.

 

 

 

 

It will be the first encounter between the two clubs in the ADNOC Pro League as the two teams aim to return to the winning ways after losing their games in matchweek 2.

 

 

 

 

At the same time, Ittihad Kalba welcome Al Dhafra in a fiery clash.

 

 

 

 

The two clubs have previously met on 14 occasions before, with 6 wins for Ittihad Kalba, and 6 victories for Al Dhafra, while the draws decided the result of the other two encounters.

 

 

 

 

Matchweek three concludes with a fiery clash between Shabab Al Ahli and Al Wahda Rashid Stadium.

 

 

 

The Dubai-based side seek to secure their second consecutive win after snatching a 2-1 victory over Dibba in matchweek two, while the Abu Dhabi-based club search for their first win in the league after being defeated by Ittihad Kalba in matchweek two and played out a 2-2 draw against Al Wasl in matchweek one.

 

 

 

The two clubs had clashed 26 times before, with ten wins for Shabab Al Ahli, and six for Al Wahda, while the draws decided the result of the other ten encounters.
